maximize profits!
— Optimize operational decisions
Make the best use of your system’s flexibilities (storage units, flexible contracts, generation dispatch, transport) to produce, store, convert, transport, buy and sell energy at the best time and place.
Make the best operation trade-offs (equipment selection, fuel choice, time lag, transportation).
Rely on a detailed description of the technical constraints of the system to achieve realistic and tangible results.
Manage risk factors by using state-of-the-art forecasting techniques (load, market price, RES generation).
Base your decisions on robust quantitative indicators: energy costs and overall revenues, GHG emissions, operation and maintenance costs, fuel costs.

Actual vs Planned Comparison / Data Reconciliations
— Macro and micro visibility integrated into the platform
Each planning horizon can interact with the backward and forward planning levels to build consistent global plan
Long-term planning sets targets and directions for short-term plan
The impact of immediate constraints is passed on longer-term planning (equipment failure, purchase constraints, stock levels, outage)

undeniable successes
Brookfield Renewable uses the Artelys Crystal Energy Planner software to generate optimized generation schedules for several hydroelectric assets. The software used on a daily basis has demonstrated its capacity and performance, with a 10% increase in the expected annual revenue for the largest of the modeled plants, and a reduction in the time required for planning from 1h30 to 10 minutes.
UEM-Metz uses the Artelys Crystal Energy Planner solution for the operational and tactical management of its physical and financial assets. The solution allows the optimization of the daily production plans of the heat production system (20 equipments, 275 MW installed) and the electrical production system taking into account the interaction with the various short-term markets (including reserve).
Artelys implemented for Elia the Artelys Crystal Energy Planner solution for the activation of the strategic reserve. This tool integrates the operating rules of complex strategic reserves, thus guaranteeing the selection of the reserve at minimum cost and a fair treatment of suppliers that can include up to 20 producers and flexibility operators.
