Join us at the METIS 3 dissemination event organized by Artelys!
METIS is the European energy system model developed by Artelys since 2015 on behalf of the European Commission’s DG ENER, and has evolved into a fully web-based tool.
Over the past 4 years, the METIS 3 project has resulted in key developments of the METIS models, including the enhanced representation of synergies and competition between energy vectors (hydrogen, biomethane,…), of energy transport infrastructure (LNG regasification terminals, hydrogen infrastructure,…), and the introduction of pathway optimisation features, that has notably been used to inform the impact assessment of the 2040 GHG target. We are organizing a special event to showcase the latest model features and to present the insights gained from the studies carried out in the context of the METIS 3 project!

At the dissemination event, we will present these latest evolutions in cooperation with our consortium partners at Tractebel and Fraunhofer ISI, and leave the floor to key external speakers to get their views on the current and future requirements of EU energy system modelling.
Did you get the chance to visit the new METIS section on the Artelys website, including all published reports and data? Do not hesitate to get in touch if you want to know more about the solutions proposed by Artelys.

Artelys provides support to the French energy regulatory authority (CRE) in assessing the adequate incentive levels to foster distribution networks performance for TURPE 7
Artelys has conducted a quantitative assessment to inform target levels proposals for TURPE 7, examining past performance and the impact of integrating smart meter data (Linky) into indicators measuring the quality of energy supply.

The MARI project is growing
In recent months, several new European TSOs have successfully joined MARI, the pan-European mFRR activation platform whose market clearing engine was developed by Artelys.
